Hausa Group commiserates With Ooni On Sabo Crisis

An hausa group, New Arewa Vision Initiative (NAVI) has commisserated
with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan on the unfortunate incident that took place in ile ife at sabo market.
The chairman of the group, Colonel Lawan Gwadabe with his members told
ooni in his palace on Wednesday that the group was mandated to pay the
royal Highness and the people of Ile Ife a solidarity to commiserate with the two tribes on the unfortunate incident.
The colonel said the board and patrons  of the group has carefully reviewed the longtime relationship between the Northeners and the people of Ile Ife which has spanned over a century of diplomatic and peaceful coexistence, which can not be allowed to be dented by the unfortunate incident.
He added that the group came to visit the king to reinforce abiding faith and solidarity with the people of Ile Ife.
Gwadabe expressed that the group seek and promote more understanding
among the two tribes, adding that it is their commitment to continue
to promote peaceful coexistence among the tribes.
" It is only through peaceful coexistence that our country can be truly strong and indivisible under the banner in diversity." He said.
In his reaction, Ooni said that normalcy has now been back in the ancient city, adding that the hausa and Yoruba have been in peace and harmony after the turbulent crisis.
The monarch promised to continue to promote peaceful coexistence
between the two tribess.
He however commended the effort of the group for peaceful coexistence
mission, praying for the members and the colonel to live long and
prosperity.
