Aregbesola Govt Is The Bane Of Insecurity In Osun-Adagunodo

Residents and indigenes of Osun State have been called upon to see the current wave of violent robbery incidents, especially in the Iwo axis of the state as part of the numerous failures recorded by the Rauf Aregbesola-led in the state.

This was contained as part of observation by the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, ‎while playing host to some media executives from across the country in his office in Osogbo, the state capital. 

According to him, despite the huge amount of money claimed to have been spent on ensuring security of lives and property in the state, robbers still came and operated freely attacking three banks in Iwo.

"From available records, Aregbesola claimed to have spent billions of Naira buying Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) and numerous pick-up vans for officers and men of the security agencies in the state. Tell me the impact of a‎ll these measures.

"Providing security for the people should be a continuous process and not the fire brigade approach employed‎ by the Aregbesola administration. 

"Let all concerned residents and well-meaning indigenes of the state ask their current governor the whereabouts of the chopper purportedly bought from the taxpayers' money for security purposes‎," the state PDP boss quizzed. 

While commiserating with the families of all civilians and policemen who lost their loved ones in the various robbery incidents across the state, the party chieftain admonished ‎them to see the current unfortunate happenings as a passing phase that will expire with the current Aregbesola administration in the state.

"The incumbent government in the state glamourised thuggery by labelling them 'State Boys'. 

"The effect of such unfortunate policy is what we are currently witnessing in the state," Adappgunodo stressed.

He however, admonished the state residents to exercise patience as the all the ungodly programmes and policies of the Aregbesola administration will end once the people hold their destinies in their hands by voting out the satanic government come 2018.
