I am a Living Testimony--Memunat Yunusa

Memunat Yunusa, the gorgeously looking amazon and fast rising yoruba actress, popularly known as mimiano who has been in Nollywood for more than ten years, recently celebrated her birthday with close friends, In this interview with  *OLA BABATUNDE* of _Findout Newspaper_, she hereby expresses her joy and unveiled future projections. 

*What motivated you to start acting?*

I was motivated into acting by watching Joke Silver and Bukky Wright on screen in those days. So I said to myself I want to be like them and that happened eventually.

*How do you feel adding another year to your age?*

Im grateful to God and happy I added another year to my age recently.

*How long have you been in nollywood?*

I have been in Nollywood since over a decade now

*What is your favourite role in acting?*

I don't have a particular role in acting, any role given to me is what I do,and that has made me the best of me in my lane. Perhaps, im a versatile actress.

*How many movies to your credit?*

I have produced couple of movies such as ife-omo,karounwi part 1 and 2, marmok, yeye-oge akanke , kobamajewo ,mimiano and more. I have also featured in so many movies like bebe-isila , iyawo adugbo , ade-ferrari ,awolu goes to school ,dubai runz ,agilinti ,ogun dagara ,ayoola and more.

*Who is your role model?*

My role models are  joke silver and bukky wright. I love and admire both of them.

*Tell us three people you will like to hug in the world.*

The rock(america wrestler), Nicki-Minaj and Don Jazzy.Those are the three celebraties im crazy about to hug in the world.

*What is your most memorable moment so far in life?*

My most memorable moment so far in life was when a guy I don't know got close to me and pecked me,then I was confused and didn't eventually get angry after he told me he was a die-hard fan of my adventures. Immediately after that act and I just over-looked it and was surprised how on earth a human being could act so strange to someone you have not met before except watching on screen.

*What is your favourite meal?*

My favourite meal is semolina,ogbono soup with cow leg

*If you were made Nigerian president, what are the three major things you will put right?*

If I was made Nigerian president,I will ensure good roads,stable electricity, good hospitality and free health care.

*What is your perfect weekend?*

My perfect weekend is to see good movies in cinemas to boost my acting skills, visit old time friends and my families

*What are future projections as an actress?*

My future projections are to have a clothing line and also build a hall for rentage for events at affordable price.

*Brief on your growing up stage*

My growing up was not easy at all, because I was not born with a silver spoon. I used to hawk koko (pap) and  akara ( bean cake) as teenage before going to school every morning in ijora 7up .But I was born and raised in ajegunle. The days I don't sell, no food. Today,  I thank God my story has changed, I am a living testimony and I am still working to be more wealthy and famous,because they say more money is not enough money.

*Tell us about your academic background.*

I started at Oluwa Royal Nursery and Primary School Olodi Apapa Lagos then proceeds to Randle Secondary School later continued my secondary at Igbologun Secondary School, Snake Island thereater got admitted in Lagos State University where i obtained  Bachelor of Science(Bsc) in Business Administration.
