Lagos FA Approve Buruj Academy's UK Trip

The Lagos State Football Association has approved the upcoming foreign trip of Buruj Sports Academy to the United Kingdom for the Manchester Cup which comes up in the city of Manchester.

This approval was contained in a letter of recommendation the body sent to the Nigerian Football Federation on Monday requesting every assistance for the Lagos-based side as they prepare for the competition.

The letter, signed by the LSFA chairman Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, reads in part: "We wish to confirm that the above named Football Club (BURUJ SPORTS ACADEMY) is an affiliate of the Lagos State Football Association. Players and officials of the Club have been invited to participate in the English International Super Cup and we have sighted the documents. Please find a copy enclosed for your records.
"We therefore humbly ask that you assist the players and officials in obtaining the necessary travel documents required for the trip..."

A 21-man strong contingent has been listed for the trip.
