Oyinlola Decamped To PDP As Hussain Got APC Ticket

Senator Mudasiru Hussain has been fielded by All Progressive Congress (APC) while the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) presented the Dr.Ademola Adeleke for the July 8 Osun West
Senatorial bye-election.

Its was gathered that Former Osun state Governor, Prince Alagunsoye Oyinlola has defected to PDP following the rejected of Adeleke by APC party.

In his letter addressed to the National Chairman of APC, Ademola said he has decided to withdraw his candidature
from the APC primary election and that he also resigned his membership of the party. But the APC in the state in a press statement signed by its Director of Media and Strategy, Mr Kunle Oyatomi said Ademola was never a member of the party and that his resignation was needless.

At the PDP primaries today, Senator Akinlabi Olasunkanmi and Lt. Col.
Olayiwola Talabi (rtd) stepped down for Adeleke.
