Speech Delivered By Tunde Eso At OAU today: A Peep Into The Future

Title: A peep into the future.

Today 21st of May, 2018 is fresher's orientation week of Faculty of Arts Student's Association (FASA), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU Ile-Ife). 

Give a man education, and you strip him off animalistic tendency- (Tunde Eso 2002). 

Please permit me to be very firm in my approach to everyone seated in this hall.

It is universally accepted that students and leaders play complementary roles to each other. As a student, it is because  you are sure of what to study which will add meaningfully to your knowledge that propelled you to choose your course of study in this university. It thus means that you have taken the first step of attaining your aspiration of becoming a university graduate.

The second step to attaining your goal is to be focused,  attentive during  lectures and put more effort to study what you learnt in class  before going to bed.

Thirdly, you must read again and again to understand what you have read so that you will not end up like some of our leaders who can not even read a speech already prepared for them. 

Finally, for the sake of my generation and posterity, I have coined a new system of government called YOUTHOCRACY which is  defined as a government of people, by the youth and for the people. This new concept of government was  published in my book titled Vision for Africa on 2013. Therefore, I'm encouraging everyone seated here today to  be creative and don't depend too much on what have been created by others. Do something new which will be beneficial to humanity and your name will be written in diamond.
