FCT Partners with Testmaster to Transform Secondary Schools Education in Nigeria

The Chairman of the board, Alh. Yahaya Musa Muhammad, said FCT secondary Education Board is excited to partner with Testmaster Education to provide e-learning solution in secondary schools in the FCT. “The partnership is very revolutionary in our schools and incidentally concise with the ministry’s 8-point agenda which has assisted us to mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic school closure. We are very happy with this collaboration which is very important and this relationship is what we think will continue. We are not thinking of anything that will scuttle this relationship. With this development, the staffs are finding it easier now to actually handle academic activities in the schools and students are equally finding learning much fun” he said.
Speaking on the new partnership, Mr. Paul Olatunde said “moving beyond student-centric solution, the new partnership will enable school principals to lead a digital school and support teachers to integrate technology in imaginative way to boost learners’ academic performances by turning classrooms into a dynamic and riveting active learning space.”
“The Testmaster digital learning and teaching project for schools in the FCT will help the FCT secondary education Board and other education stakeholders to provide equal access to high quality learning materials i.e the curriculum offered to all classes of learners from different socio-economic backgrounds using the Testmaster technologies. This will help learners to self-learn successfully and overcome their weaknesses in learning the curriculum and teachers in teaching only the relevant facts already compiled the textbooks and short lesson video clips to save time, maximize teachers face-to-face contacts with the learners.”

“Coinciding with the ongoing e-learning project with the FCT Secondary Education Board, the digital learning and teaching project when implemented in all the FCT Area Education Councils will reach over 76,000 students and 4,000 teachers in 136 senior secondary schools in the FCT.”
