Commandant Alfadarai Promises to Foster Professionalism and Discipline, Receives Surprise Outstanding Award of Credence for Quality Performance During the 2023 General Elections

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps UI Alfadarai, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, in the course of this second week of April, 2023, interacted, with several media organizations and groups, in a bid to affirm his earlier promises to carry the media along in understanding the roles and functions of the Corps, towards achieving its mandates and ensuring safety and security of lives and property in the State .
He has also seized the opportunity, of robust interactions with the media, to promise the fostering of professionalism and discipline amongst his personnel in the State, while citing examples of how such virtuous characters will help to create and achieve the desired national and collective security goals and aspirations in the State.
To this end also was the NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, CC UI Alfadarai surprised, by the Cornel Media Consult ( CMC ) Gladiators of Repute, with an Award of Credence, for his outstanding and excellent performance before, during and after the 2023 Presidential and Gubernatorial Elections, held on February, 25th and March 18th respectively .
The awarding aforementioned group, CMC Gladiators, reputably, known for discovering and nurturing entertainment talents for over two (2) decades led, by the popular Ambassador Cornel Udofia, with a few members of his group also identified ; professionalism, improved discipline in the conduct of Corps' personnel, respect for the human rights of voters and candidates, compliance with laid down electoral rules and regulations, successful joint patrol and monitoring, with the Police and other sister agencies, pursuance of collective security and responsibility, humility and integrity in service delivery, successful combination of both behavioural and scientific approach to election security and monitoring, quality and robust relations with the media, traditional institutions, communities, religious institutions, youth organizations, women assiciations, non - governmental organizations and other relevant stakeholders, as one of the many reasons the Command's lordship was surprisingly, awarded, without any recourse to traditional protocols of award reception.
CC UI Alfadarai, in a bid to appreciate the group, said, "to whom much is given, much is expected and as such he promised to enable team work and collaboration, to surpass expectations, limits and bounds, in a bid to fulfiling the Corps' mandates, in line with the vision of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, dfisn, OFR, to give the Corps its rightful place in the national and global security space
