I Shall Become World Best Singer-Yemi Orungbamila

Yemi Orungbamila, a young activist, singer, and the director of 

Africa_Gorilla_Cares_Entertianment in this interview with FINDOUT NEWSPAPER, spoke about his plans of becoming the best in his art. 

Share with us your background and how it has  influenced your career.

My name is Yemi Orungbamila, the director of Africa_Gorilla_Cares_Entertianment. My stage name is Culgrin D Mayor. My background was quite difficult,  but I'm grateful to Almighty God for His protection over the years. 

What motivates you as a singer and how many songs have produced? 

I have always loved music even as a young boy which was my main inspiration. Music is food to the soul. I have produced an album titled 'Africa Gorilla' volume one with seven tracks.

What are the different things you have done as a musician?

Wow, this is a nice question. I'm a music artist and activist. I'm in support of positive growth, equality, and an active member of Global Citizen Foundation for Africa on Gold level.

As a software expert, what has been the impact on you and the people?

As an active global member, I build websites and manage same for the organization with regards to climate change that enhances safety  in accordance with the British framework.

In the next five years, what level would you want to be?

I intend building my entertainment house in conjunction with Global Citizen Foundation in order to support the less privileged. 

With this in mind, what challenges have you faced and how were you able to overcome them?

I wouldn't want to bring back some of the memories I went through in life. I lost a lot of friends, almost lost my life, and  slept in the streets for many years. May God bless all those that stood by me at that period of my life. Meanwhile, i shall become world the best singer. 

However I still need financial support to be able to assist those with positive mindset around me and to also empower the youth to live a productive life. 

What advise do you have for the  younger generation?

I hereby appeal to them to be positive in all they do and should always be proud of where they come from; no matter the colour of your skin, we are all equal in the eyes of our creator 

What are the things that attract you to people?

I love honest people, I love those who offer help expecting nothing in return.

Who is your role model as a musician, and why?

Burna Boy is my role model because we share a lot in common
