Lagos Top School Celebrates Third Anniversary

Haccon International, one of the top schools in Lagos State held her third graduation and end of session party on 16th of July, 2024 in the school premises at Ijegemo, a suburb in Lagos State.

It was a day of joy for the parents, staff and students including well-wishers at the ceremony.

The guests and graduants were entertained with a  variety of captivating activities which included speaking on the  history of Lagos, the history of Nigeria 's heroes (such Pa Awolowo, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Madam Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti), drama presentation, choreography, health talk, and the importance of education.

A lecture on  "The importance of education: Why parents should be more concerned about their children's learning process" was delivered by Tunde Eso, the founder of Trio Professional Schools and originator of Youthocracy - a new system of government defined as government of the people, by the youth and for the people in year 2013, said education enables us to see obstacles as challenges that can be subdued without fear. More so, it is the pivot behind successful people and the fulcrum on which most developed countries stand.

According to him, "Parents should be the first role model of their children". He passionately appealed to parents to be more concerned with their children's learning because they are the leaders of tomorrow.

They should be more concerned about the performance of their children with their studies and  behavioural patterns towards other children to elicit good grades.

Eso further opined that students with commendable support from home have achieved better grades and grew up with higher self-esteem. Parents are therefore encouraged to lay the foundation for future learning for their children at early childhood by providing passionate care, stimulation, and opportunities to explore the world that would immensely benefit them in the future.

"I have witnessed here today superlative performances of students which shows that this school is one of the best schools I have delivered lectures and trainings on the development of students for a better Nigeria in 27years".

Mr. Badmus, the proprietor of the school appreciated the staff , parents/ guardians and well-wishers for their contributions to the success of the ceremony, particularly the teachers for bringing the best out of the students. He added that Haccon International school is among the few schools in Lagos state that is encouraging the pupils to read , write and learn basic numericals within two terms.
He stressed the need why parents should be more active in supporting the learning process of their children at home to enhance better performance in school and a better society.
