Agbolayah congratulates Obi Prof. Azinge on coronation as 14th Asagba of Asaba 

Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development, Amb. Dr. Toyin Orighomisan Agbolayah JP, Saturday, congratulated Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, (SAN) OON, on his successful coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba. 

Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge (SAN), OON, in a dignifying and colourful ceremony, well attended by sons and daughters of Asaba kingdom and other high profile dignitaries, was officially crowned the 14th Asagba of Asaba, on Saturday, September 5, 2024.

The Special Adviser, in his congratulatory message, described Prof. Azinge as an astute academia, a brilliant and reliable lawyer.

Dr. Agbolayah noted that Professor Azinge's emergence as the 14th Asagba of Asaba was timely and well deserved, considering the fact that he was replacing an academic giant in the field of Medicine, Obi Professor Chike Edozien.

He urged Professor Azinge to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new role as the chief custodian of the cultural heritage of the Asaba people. 

"On behalf of the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development, I congratulate Professor Epiphany Azinge, (SAN), OON, on his successful coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba Kingdom. 

"Given the antecedents of Obi Prof. Azinge as a brilliant lawyer and academic of great repute, I have no doubt that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in improving the cultural heritage of Asaba people.

"Prof. Azinge aside his educational and legal profession, is a peaceful man and I am not surprise that he has been found worthy by the good people of Asaba to lead them as their traditional ruler, which I believe he'll deliver for greater achievements.

"On this note, I wish Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge a successful tenure as the 14th Asagba of Asaba and I pray God Almighty to grant him more fruitful years with strength and wisdom to lead his people aright".
