A 27 years old Nigerian fast-rising writer, poet, philosopher and photographer, Yusuf Cornelius Otijenu, was born in Ajedimoku-Abocho, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State into the family of Elder Yusuf Noah and Deaconess Yusuf Dorcas. He is the first-child of a family of three – two boys and a girl.

The writer is a graduate of Religious Studies from Kogi State University, Anyigba and he did his one-year compulsory National Youth Service in Cross River State in 2020. The writer equally has professional certificates to his credit including certificate in public relations from Trio Professional Schools based in Lagos.

The Nigerian writer who has previously worked in different organizations in Nigeria and who is now the managing editor of The Compodium is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.

His poems and writings have appeared on notable magazines and popular website. Some of his tittles are "The Elusive Feelings", "The Veiled", "The Unconfessed", "Only You", and "Choice".

Otijenu has three book titles to his credit which are "The Reality of Personality" and "Securing Love: Tips to Better Relationship". The writer equally has two articles accepted for publication on credible international journals.

Yusuf Cornelius Otijenu has held various positions in social cultural and pan-African organizations is currently the Kogi State Secretary of Fix Nigeria Group, a pan African organization founded by a Nigerian renowned Journalist and visionary leader, Dr. Tunde Eso.
