Omidan Yoruba Pays A Courtesy Visit To Ogun State Governor

Recently, the commissioner for Culture and Tourism, RT. hon Muyiwa Oladipo at his office, in Abeokuta who welcomed Omidan Yoruba courtesy visit crew, for Ogun State Governor, said in his opening remark that he was glad to see young men and women who would sustain the Yoruba cultural heritage.
The commissioner also commended the brain behind the Yoruba youth summit held in 2016, saying the summit had also brought about the selection of a beauty queen known as the OMIDAN YORUBA " the Voice of Yoruba youth" the platform for sustaining culture and traditional values.
In addition he said that the state Government will continue to support and encourage the promotion of our culture and traditional values in the state and Southwest as a whole, the present administration would not relent at ensuring that the youths of the state were exposed to Yoruba culture and traditions, he said.
He also expressed his happiness towards seeing young women at the fore front of cultural reawakening of our youths.
The managing director of the OMIDAN YORUBA foundation Mr Kingsley Opara appreciated the state government for a warm welcome of the OMIDAN and her team to the state, and for supporting and promoting our cultural heritage as Africans, he added that the OMIDAN YORUBA Miss Omotoyosi Adetiluwa Anibi and her foundation will always be grateful to work in conjunction with all Odua states at promoting YORUBA cultural heritage.
The team also visited the Agura of Gbagura HRM Oba Halidu Laloko, MFR, Shobekun 11, JP, at his palace at Abeokuta and was received by the Obas in council, Royal blessings was showered on the OMIDAN and she intimated the Kabiyesi on her projects and promised to always uphold the Odua people's culture
