SSS 1 Student Stabbed to Death in Abuja

A tragic incident unfolded in Kubwa town, FCT, as a 19-year-old secondary school student, Salma Yunusa, lost her life in a stabbing incident allegedly involving a co-tenant.
The victim, residing with her elder sister Bilikisu Yunusa, was reportedly stabbed by their co-tenant, Immaculate Chukwudi, following a dispute.
According to Bilikisu, the altercation stemmed from an argument between the suspect and another male tenant, referred to as Pastor, over laundry. Despite her attempts to intervene, tensions escalated, leading to the fatal stabbing of Salma. Bilikisu recounted the harrowing events, highlighting how the suspect threatened her and subsequently attacked Salma with a knife, resulting in her tragic demise.
The suspect has been apprehended by the police, with investigations ongoing. Salma was laid to rest in her hometown, Ajagwumu, Dekina LGA of Kogi State. The FCT police command's spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident and assured that the case would be prosecuted accordingly.
