Dynamic Moves of a Young Nigerian Journalist

Idegu Ojonugwa Shadrach is a great name in Nigerian journalism with over 20 articles on national and local newspapers.

The forefront of his journalism is credited by his advocacy for youth inclusion in Nigeria politics. Hence, his articles are enriched with deep political analyzes, suggestions and themes for projecting youths in national, state and local levels of political representations. Some of these articles are: The Doom of a Mannerless City published on January 15, 2021 by The Nation Newspaper; The Citizen Movement published on April 6, 2021 by Independent Nigeria Newspaper; African Youths, Wake Up from Slumber published on June 20, 2024 by The Guardian Nigeria Newspaper; and, Opinion: Nigeria Political Robbery published on January 25, 2022 by The Ripples Nigeria.

His journalistic activisms are still supported in his published books especially in "The Revolution" published in 2021, "The Stakeholder" published in 2021, "The Moving Value" published in 2022, "Measures of Politics and Religion in Humanity" Published in 2024 and many more.

The journalist who is also an erudite scholar of dozens of published articles on international journals, and an author of dozens published books hails from Ochadumu in Ofu Local Government of Kogi State.

His political curiosity in journalism has attracted him to many pan-African groups especially Fix Nigeria Group, where he is made Kogi State Coordinator of the group; this is where he do render his practical political journalism to the youths.

Shadrach has equally published letters on national dairies, and has spent years in Nigeria journalism where he holds editorial positions, and a columnist to newspapers.

The journalist is a graduate of English Education from Kogi State University, Anyigba. Additionally, he is a Fellow of Professional Public Relations and currently undergoing postgraduate studies.
