LAGOS NSCDC:Ikosi-Ejirin Division Gets Permanent Office Site, Kehinde Joins Oba, LCDA Chairman and Others for Ground Breaking Ceremony

Keshinro expresses appreciation to Oba of Odo - Ayandelu, His Royal Highness, Ganiyu Aderibigbe Asunmo, Alayandelu of Ayandelu Kingdom, promises improved protection of all critical national assets and infrastructure in the state .
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Ikosi - Ejirin Division, yesterday, Thursday, 18th July, 2024, officially got its permanent site for a well befitting office accomodation, situated, at Odo - Ayandelu, Ikosi - Ejirin Local Council Development Area ( LCDA ).
The new site was allocated to the Ikosi - Ejirin Division of the NSCDC, Lagos State Command, by the King ( Oba ) of Odo - Ayandelu, His Royal Highness, Ganiyu Aderibigbe Asunmo, Alayandelu of Ayandelu Kingdom.
The ground breaking event of the new permanent site allocated to the Ikosi - Ejirin Division was done yesterday, amidst joy and gladness, amidst the presence of guests, personnel, well wishers, enthusiasts and the good people inhabiting the great community.
The aforementioned Oba promised, to ensure a swift completion of the main building within a very short time, so that the commissioning of the project can also take place and give room for an immediate use of the Division by the personnel.
The Honourable Chairman of Ikosi - Ejirin LCDA, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo was also in attendance for the ground breaking ceremony. While the Chairman was giving his speech he made it known clearly, that there was no doubt that the location of an NSCDC office in Ikosi - Ejirin will absolutely, beef up the security and utterly, reduce all forms of criminality being perpetrated in the area as well. He also avowed his unflinching support to the project in record time.
The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, was in attendance for the ground breaking ceremony of the office accomodation. He joined the Oba, HRH Ganiyu Aderibigbe Asunmo and the Honourable Chairman of Ikosi - Ejirin LCDA, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Council Treasurer, Hon., Lawal Adeshina, the Council Manager, the Olori Alayandelu of Ayandelu, the Olowu of Owu, Nelson Obayomi Ogunlari and the Chiefs from Ayandelu and other dignitaries to lay the first set of blocks for the foundation of the office.
The Lagos State Commandant seized, the ceremony to charge the Divisional Officer, Ikosi - Ejirin, Chief Superintendent of Corps Dada Omolola and her personnel and all other formations of the Command, to see the gesture by the traditional ruler as a huge opportunity for the Command to prove the popular saying, "to whom much is given much is expected." He charged personnel across the state to work closely, with traditional institutions around their Areas of Responsibilities ( AoR ), trade associations, market women, religious and community leaders, non - governmental organizations, Civil Society, Youth Coalitions amidst other relevant stakeholders in a bid to ensure effective security and safety of our critical national assets and infrastructure et ce tera.
The Lagos State Commandant also seized the opportunity to call on all other traditional rulers, community leaders and stakeholders to be influenced, by the gesture of the Oba and do more for the NSCDC in Lagos State so that we can be able to discharge our statutory duties without fail.
